(More customer reviews)I purchased this one for my Mom after she admired the one I had bought for my husband a couple of years ago.She loves it! I've checked out a couple of other models and they don't have the overall durability that this one has.For the record, my husband has rarely used the one I bought for him, but I use it a lot.I kneel in the garden with it to protect my knees while planting seeds.I use the legs/side bars to push myself up after a long bout of pulling weeds and salt grass.I use it as a stool to step up to water my hanging plants, sit on it to groom the dog, and a variety of other outdoor tasks.The foam pad has blown around the yard several times and no longer stays stuck on the bottom side of the stool but it hasn't gotten hard or crumbled in our Nevada desert sun.Our seat is always outside in the elements and has held up very well.I recommend it as a very thoughtful gift for the gardener of any age on your gift list.
