(More customer reviews)There are plenty of bite marks left on the spoon within the first 10 minutes of using the spoon by a 1 year old, who also chews on other silicone products (other soft spoons, toothbrush, teething toy, nipples, etc.) but leaves no mark; which makes me wonder if the tip is indeed silicone, though the Gerber customer service rep over the phone cannot explain and says that's normal sign of wearing of the coating. I don't want to use these remaining 3 soft bite spoons until my baby grows out of this phase of biting onto the spoon itself.
