(More customer reviews)I bought this chair for an 87 year old woman who wanted to replace a very old chair that she used in her bedroom.
It looks like it does in the picture; it is sturdy and well built, the wood has a good polish on it and the cushion is soft but firm.
Putting it together took a bit longer than I would have liked, mostly because of the resistance of the screws to actually screw into their place. I used a regular screwdriver however, and I can imagine that if I had used a powered one, it would have taken less time.
Overall, this is a good looking, well built chair with a traditional design that I would recommend.
