(More customer reviews)I bought these chairs for a counter that wraps around my kitchen and into the living room. I needed something that looked nice between both rooms and was really looking for something fabric and not microfiber or leather -- which is amazingly hard to find. These chairs were perfect! From the images, I thought the cream background would be a solid fabric with the black flowers printed on it. To my surprise, the fabric is a gorgeous weaved fabric which makes these chairs look more expensive in my opinion. The legs are solid wood, too. All my guests are shocked when I told them the price. They are GORGEOUS in person!
One note to buyers, we had one problem assembling the chairs since the instructions are super basic (one sheet with no relatively text, just images). On the first attempt, we put the front legs in the reverse positions -- making the holes that align with the back legs horribly mis-aligned. Once I figured out what we had done wrong, they were easy to assemble and look great! So just be sure that the front legs are in the correct holes with the cross beam between them in the lower holes leaving the higher holes for the cross beams to the back legs.
One other thing I will mention is that the seat bottom of these chairs is cross-belting, not wood. this makes for a more comfortable chair but I imagine that they wouldn't work well for heavier people (250lbs or more?) since you'd sink pretty far into the middle leaving the wood around the edges to press into your legs. I'm about 130lbs and they are very comfortable for me. I don't want to discourage any buyers but I thought I would make a note of that in case you are looking for a solid bottom chair.
