Unfortunately I had the experience that many others did (read reviews on Target's website) with the predrilled holes not lining up. It was extremely frustrating and my handy Dad eventually figured out a way to put it together successfully, but it required a lot of time and elbow grease. Once assembled, the chair is gorgeous. But if you are set on buying it, it might be better to buy direct from Target that way if/when the holes don't line up, you can return it right to the store and get a replacement. If you can't deal with a hassle, don't buy this chair.
