(More customer reviews)For the $40 or so I paid for it, it's pretty hard to beat, and I may consider getting a second one at some point. It has the few usual very slightly misaligned holes you'd expect from anything Chinese made, and it's not the finest of hardwoods by any stretch of the imagination. But the minor flaws in it didn't stop me from putting it together easily or thoroughly enjoying it when I was done. And it thankfully doesn't suffer from the problem of ill-aligned feet, so when I was done putting it together, I didn't have a wobbly chair. It's comfortable and sturdy, and already I'm getting plenty of good use out of it.
It is worth mentioning that it is completely unfinished, so it's worth investing $20 in a can of a good weatherproof sealer. There's no need that I can see to invest $100 for a quart of marine-grade sealer unless you plan on putting the thing on the end of a pier somewhere. But you really can't just assemble it and leave it out to the weather as-is with any realistic expectation of it lasting for any length of time.So you'll have to figure in that extra $20 -- and a little effort painting the thing up *before* you assemble it.That said, a $20 quart can of sealer would probably be enough to cover six to eight of these chairs.
